Experience using the Knot RSVP system?

This might not be helpful, because I did NOT use it, but I chose not to use it, because I had heard bad things. The site went down on people so they couldn’t access their guest lists. Guests RSVP’d but it didn’t register. Guests RSVP’d for more people than they were allowed. Plus, we were going to split digital RSVPs against the paper RSVPs for the older generation, and decided to just go all print.

This was all a year ago, so they could have vastly improved, however. Also, I know that there are other sites and apps all trying to make this better, so you have other options.

Haven’t had any problens but I’ve input all guests manually. They fixed whatever issue allowed people to RSVP for extra guests (that would have been a nightmare) and no ones had any trouble using the function so far. No experience with uploading a guest list like an Excel sheet. Kind of confused about the guests going through a hassle of adding details part…you should be the one adding the guest information. All they have to do is type in their name, pick an entree if you have that option then accept or decline.

I used it and I enjoyed it! I didn’t have any problems. But also, I didn’t even put in people’s names. I just figured nobody would know our wedding website unless they got sent a wedding invitation which (for the most part) worked out.

The guests filled in their name & chose their entrees. They also said if they’re coming to the rehearsal dinner or not. And then I downloaded all of the responses to an Excel spreadsheet and it was all so simple!

I have an automatic exact count of my guests & everybody’s names are spelled correctly (important because we have a seating chart). I did have a few people send in RSVP’s thru paper (older people) and so I added them manually to Excel but I’m glad I mostly went digital.

My cousin had a bad experience with it, so I’m using RSVPify.com
