@RunnerGirl15:  Yes they act exactly like natural sapphires. I prefer the white ones personally, because sometimes the blues can be too blue to look natural.

But the only way one can be sure that a sapphire is natural or not barring inclusions is looking under like a bajillion(obvi not an acturate statement) magnification and seeing the lines of the crystal structure are curved as opposed to natural ones that are straight.
