I completely dropped the ball on bridesmaid dresses, and am now having a hard time getting the dress (Melissa Sweet) we all want in time for my wedding in March. I came across Mrs. Lime’s post about the seamstress Laura Bravo, and am wondering if any of you ladies out there have used her, and if so, how your experience was.
I have spoken with her on the phone and am meeting her tomorrow. She sounds lovely (very sweet!) over the phone, but it makes me a little nervous that she is not a "business", and that I probably couldn’t do much about it if she took our money and ran!
Mrs. Lime’s post is very comforting, but just thought I’d see if other out there have used her. I would love to hear about it!

I haven’t worked with Laura Bravo, but definitely have heard of her. She seems very affordable from what I hear. A friend of mine used her and said that her work is good..might not be great, but it depends on the style and fabric, I guess.
I have used another seamstress in LA/Alhambra area and her name is Theresa. I can PM you her phone number and address if you’d like. I thought the dresses she made were gorgeous! She charges $70 for short dresses and $75 for long dresses, plus fabric.
