L606 :  not mine, but my friend’s dog had this. It was non-aggressive and they were able to get the whole tumor out in one surgery no problem. I know how stressful it is to have your pup in surgery (mine has had several) but hopefully she’ll be just fine!

L606 :  definitely stay off the google! But I know what you mean – even just seeing my dogs whiskers starting to turn white I freak out and think “no! no! you can never get old and you can never die! Stay a puppy forever!”

We had a mast cell tumor removed from one of our dogs two and a half years ago.  Although the margins were clean, we didn’t know if it had spread before being removed and knew that if it had, we would only have another year with him.  Luckily, he is the picture of health two and a half years later ๐Ÿ™‚

I know it’s stressful ๐Ÿ™

Just wondering how your pup is doing!  I have always had boxers, and mast cell tumors are common in them!  Luckily I have not had to deal with any this far, knock on wood.
