I took it a few months, including the month I got pregnant.  I took it orally and at night, and didn’t really notice much of a difference in how I usually feel.  I did feel very tired in my first trimester, and the doctor said that it could have partially been from the progesterone, but I don’t remember feeling dizzy.

I took 200mg orally starting the day after O and continuing through week 12 (I’m 24+ weeks now and got my BFP the cycle I started on progesterone). I took it at night and it made me extra tired. that was it for me. But it worked so I’m happy!!

ajillity81:  Any other symptoms now that you have been taking the prometrium for a while? I start prometrium today and am hoping I don’t get too many symptoms. I did injectables and a trigger shot this month, so I already have symptoms from that (fatigue, cramping) so I am hoping I don’t get a bunch more from the prometrium!

ajillity81:  Thanks for the info. I have to take the prometrium twice daily, once in the morning and once at night. I’m hoping the fatigue isn’t too bad, since work is nuts right now! That’s great that you havent had any spotting yet. FX for a BFP this month, when are you planning to test?

ajillity81:  I know what you mean, the BFNs are very difficult to see month after month. Keeping my fingers crossed that the prometrium pills help and that your appt with the RE goes well!
