@cmoore793:  I wore a Target dress in a wedding.  They were nice enough, but didn’t look as advertised.  There was supposed to be a ruched bodice, but the fabric laid weirdly and had to be ironed down.  My dress even came with a broken strap, but luckily we were wearing it strapless anyways.

I’d say go somewhere else, from personal experience.

I was recently at a wedding & I commented to the bride how much I loved the BM’s dresses. She said, “we got them for $40 at JC Penny’s & my mom made the sash/belts!”

They were so adorable I would have never guessed! She also had BM’s ranging in age (a teenager to mid thirties) and shape/size & the dress she found looked great on all of them.

There’s also ModCloth, which has some adorable dresses in your price range that will be very stylish and generally pretty well-made (which Target dresses tend not to be)

I bought my BM’s dresses at JCPenney for $60 each. Look there, macy’s, other department stores.

I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man and we ordered the “chiffon” dresses in various styles.. They were AWFUL. First of all, not really chiffon, more of a satin nightgown material. One girl ordered a long dress and it really did look like a nightgown. I got a strapless one, and while there is “boning” and a built in bra like strap, it was basically worthless. I would have been pulling it up all night. We ended up returning them and got some HIGHLY discounted Donna Morgan dresses from nordstrom.com that were actual silk chiffon and lovely.

And just so everyone knows..They don’t carry the Bridesmaid or Best Man line in stores, they have to be ordered online. You can definitely return them in store with the normal target return policy, so that’s good! If your BMs are strapped for cash though, it’s kind of a pain to have to order/pay for multiple dresses to try.

Also, they were OUT of a lot of sizes/colors. The website is kind of misleading and you think everything is available, but when you try to put it in your cart..Out of stock.
