I’m planning on getting some put in right after Christmas to see how they look (probably gonna go with the permanent ones) – I too cut my hair super super short right before the proposal (and some irony — as I was sitting in the chair, about to cut off a year and a half’s worth of growth, I said “chop it off – it’s not like I’m getting married any time soon.”) So it’s not as long as I want it, because I plan to either leave it all down or do a half-up half down thing. I wear my hair up way too much and as a result I don’t feel elegent or pretty when I do lol.

@lawbride88:  Haha, I did!  We took formal photos before the ceremony– first look, portraits, with all family, wedding party, etc.  After the reception, we went out in the city with our photographer and did couples photos.

I planned it that way because I had a few changes to my look between ceremony and reception– took my hair down, took my veil out, put in a rhinestone clip, changed earrings, changed sashes, changed shoes.

I did clip-in extensions for length and volume. I wore it in a curled side pony tail for the beach ceremony and then for the AHR, it was pulled half back. I have curly but thin hair and without the extensions I would have been limited to a messy bun.

I wont need extensions. I’ve got super long thick hair :).

I’m getting them. I think I’m getting the microbead ones. This is my inspiration:

I have extremely thick waist-length hair, so probably not.

I thought about wearing it down, ’cause it is so long and I think it’d look really pretty, but I don’t want to cover up the back of my dress. So I’ll probably do a loose updo.

@NicoleLyn1218:  Homemade?  My mom and I bought the hair (human, 18″) at a beauty supply store and hand sewed the clips in.  We did this so I could have a variety of track lengths for different situations.  It was also extremely more cost-effective; the hair and clips only cost around $35.

this is me with my clip in (she actually bobby-pinned those suckers in) extensions on. I used extensions for fullness and length. They are 18 inches BUT she made the the curls really tight because they were supposed to get looser throughout the day, and they did! They stayed put the whole time so there was nothing to worry about!
