I have had it done and I am a big baby. It wasn’t so bad. They have a kiosk setup in one of the malls here, so I watched the girl do a few before I let her work on me. I really prefer it over waxing. If you have ever tweezed your eyebrows, that is what it feels like.

I get my eyebrows threaded all the time in the summer. Threading last longer and its cleaner IMO. I also get my eyebrows waxed when the threading line is too long, and IMO threading is more painful than waxing.

I have my eyebrows threaded all the time. It’s a bit painful, but last longer than waxing and produces very clean looking results. Love it!

I get waxed but get finished off with threading. It’s a strange sensation, rather like a sharp tickle. I find it effective and probably more so than waxing in a way.

I get mine threaded because the medicine I am on does not allow for waxing (ill get scabs and really red) so anyways, I actually prefer the look of threading a lot better..it is more precise and accurate, but it does hurt more. My eyes literally have a constant stream of tears coming out of them every time.

I really liked the threading when I was able to afford it lol Right now it’s home waxing for me lol It really isn’t that bad and does last longer.

i don’t think it hurts at all! make sure you get a recommendation though — you don’t want anyone taking off too much close to your wedding!

I did eyebrow threading for my engagement pics, wedding, and now contemplating it again for the honeymoon. I work with a few Indian girls and that is all they do. I have tried waxing and it rips off my skin and leaves yucky scabs. Thought I would try threading. I loved it! Really not that painful (like tweezing as others have said). One brow hurt more than the other for me and the girl said that is pretty normal. So in my case they did the left brow first and it wasn’t painful at all but when they switched to the right it hurt a bit more.

I found a girl in Minneapolis that works out of her house and did it for $6. She was great! Found her on http://www.localfiles.com/production/main/ . I don’t see one for Philadelphia though 🙁

I get mine threaded. It lasts longer and to me doesn’t hurt as bad as waxing.

I have always gotten my eyebrows waxed and wasn’t really sure of the eyebrow threading.  I think I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks!
