If you’re getting the individual lash extensions that bond to your lashes, then you won’t have to worry about them lasting at all, as they shouldn’t fall out until your actual lashes fall out.

I got mine single bonded and they lasted about 3 weeks.

I got extensions for my wedding, loved them! Mine lasted well through three weeks and only got thin looking by the month’s end. Decided not to continue with them simply because of the price. No pictures at the moment, unfortunately.

It’s been 3 weeks and my lashes are still on. I found a Groupon deal and purchased a couple, one for a trial run for engagement shots, and one for the wedding.

One eye is a bit more sparse and I’m scheduled for a touchup next week. But I’m really happy with them and I’ve been able to use less eye makeup thanks to them.

Tips:

Don’t use mascara

Don’t use oil-based eye makeup remover

Don’t rub your eyes

@ElwoodBlues: You’ll remember not to after the first time, because rubbing tugs the lashes and it hurts a little.

I got extensions also about 2 weeks before my wedding, and they still looked great. Here is a down view and then one that is further away, but you can kind of see how they look from the side.

I’m assuming this is something that needs to be spcefically asked for? My makeup artist  asked if i wanted fake eyelashes done and I agreeded- but i’m thinking i wont be getting these awsome ones… I guess I had better clear the air with her on this

I used a Groupon for eyelash extensions for my e-pics.  I loved them but a few started falling out within two days.  =(  They fell out here and there over the next few weeks and they were all gone by 3 weeks later.  I would love to get them again because they looked fabulous for those 3 weeks but I couldn’t afford to do it unless I got another Groupon. Plus it would be super easy for the honeymoon because I looked wide-eyed and awake when I woke up every morning since the lashes made my eyes *pop*.

The person who put them on told me to shield my eyes in the shower, not to let the stream of water hit my eyelashes directly.  Then after the shower use a blowdryer to set the eyelashes in the right position after the shower.  Point the nozzle upwards to separate your lashes.

Also, the eye on the side I sleep on most lost the lashes faster than the other side.  So for about a week I added a few individual lashes on that side to even things out.

I’ve always wanted to try them! I usually use false lashes when I go out on the weekends or for special occasions. Do you think the high cost is worth it? Let me know, I’d love to try them if you think they are worth it!
