My hairstylist/MUA started doing them about 6 months ago. They look a lot more natural than the strips of false lashes and last a lot longer too. They aren’t as full-looking though so if you are going for a dramatic look I don’t think it’s necessarily the best choice.

My friend does lashes and shes going to do mine too! They look very natural! Definitely add volume and last about 3-4 weeks! And then you don’t look like you have 45,385 coats of mascara on but they are still curled and defined!

I’ve had them before and plan on doing them again for my wedding. They look GREAT in photos and you don’t have to worry about mascara running or anything. I’d recommend getting them applied about 2 days before your wedding. If you get them done too far before they’ll have a chance to get kinda wonky from growing out. Also know that they are high maintenance, so get them before your wedding and then you wont be sick of them until a lot longer after your honeymoon

I purchased a groupon for them, and then a friend of mine told me they pulled all of her lashes out. Now i’m nervous because I love my lashes. Did anyone experience this?

Hi Ladies,

I had these done a few weeks ago, and I am (still) loving them!

My MUA started doing lash extensions, and I thought it might be fun to have them for my wedding. She recommended I do a set ahead of time (we did this March 28th, my wedding is June 1st) just to make sure I liked them.

I. Love. Them.

I have no complaints. I went for 9mm, which is a natural look, and while it isn’t scary or overly-glam looking, you can definitely see them. They make my eyes pop, but still look natural.

I didn’t believe the MUA when she told me I wouldn’t need mascara, but she was (obviously) right, and not wearing mascara has been one of the best things about having these. It’s been 3 weeks, and they still look great. They’ll probably last 4 weeks. I will DEFINITELY get these for my wedding, and may add a few longer lashes (10 mm) at the ends for a slightly more dramatic look, while still looking natural.

I was worried that they’d fall off, or look weird, but like I said, I have nothing bad to say about these; it’s been great. I’m excited to have them for my wedding to not worry about smearing mascara, and also have them for my honeymoon!

Here are some pictures of my eyes with the extensions. My natural lashes are short and stumpy, just FYI.

And here’s my eyes, after my make-up trial 2 weeks after the extensions were applied:

Hope that is helpful!

I just had my eye lashes done 5 days ago.. they did itch first few days a little but that has subsided!!  I am absolutely in LOVE with them!!  I can’t even tell you how big of a difference it is!!  I can put just lip gloss on and I look like I have gotten ready for the day…  I will post pics if you want.. I am at work right now so I can’t do it from this computer  ๐Ÿ™‚

Absolutely love my eye lashes!!

@KittyScott83:

Yes!  They itched, they burned so I decided not to go back and they did indeed pull my lashes out.

I do Latisse now and wore plain ole fake lashes for the wedding.

My eyes are pretty sensitive, so your mileage may vary.

@hlayers:  My sister got them done and although they look amazing when newly applied, they look horrid once they start falling out (1-2 weeks after application). Since they’re applied in bunches, not all bunches fall out at the same time and you end up looking like you have creepy spidery lashes. Not a good look.

@DeeVine1217: there’s all different kinds – these ones are the individual ones – I wore them for my wedding in 12mm (usually wear false lashes so wanted to be dramatic).  I’ll post a pic of the longer ones for you later as I’m at work just now ๐Ÿ™‚

I say go for it ๐Ÿ™‚  they look amazing and you can always take them off with baby oil after the day if you don’t like the way they feel

@rangersbride:  I’m not saying they’re ugly, I’m just saying it looks weird once they start falling out. ๐Ÿ™‚

And obviously aestheticians will recommend, they’re 120$ a pop in some cases so it’s very profitable. lol
