I had mine done for our wedding and I am still wearing them! two months later  They are kind of addicting!  Some advice if you decide to do it – it took my girl abot an hour and a half to apply them – so make sure you arent rushed and then I had to go back the next day as one of extensions was irritating my eye – so dont wait til the last minute either.  I was also told that you cant sleep on your face either.  I havent really had any problems other than 2-3 week maintenance, but this past time around they are really bothering my contacts….I dont want to discourage you from getting them – they are fun and look amazing, but I kinda wish I had them taken off when we get back.  Good luck!

I have them! Honestly now that I have them I can’t imagine life without them. You can’t wear ANY mascara thought. Some people say you can but the mascara breaks down the glue- even the “special” mascara they sometimes try to sell you. Its not a problem at all because you don’t need it. The extensions are thicker and darker than a normal lash so its gives you more volume than any mascara ever woud. I know a lot of girls who have them and no one has been irrated by the glue but you will know right away if your skin has issues with it. I have been getting them filled every 3 weeks since March without a probelm 🙂

You can swim and shower with them on which is really the best part- you walk out of the ocean beautiful! They will be amazing for your honeymoon (mine is coming up too!). I would try them a couple times before it just incase you are sensitve to the glue you don’t look crazy in your pictures.

One thing to think about- That groupon is great but you should ask her BEFORE hand what her prices are for a fill. You need a “full set” and then a fill every 3-4 weeks. In Boston fills are about $90 which can be cost prohibitive for some people. It would be awful to get them done only to find out you can’t do fills.

Good Luck!

I had them for my wedding,

With mine you could wear mascara but not waterproof because you need an oil base eye make up remover to get waterproof mascara off which will also break the lash glue down and they’ll come off!!

I loved them, I didn’t once have to wear mascara on my honeymoon!! BUT its been 4 months since my wedding and my own lashes are only just recovering…I lost a few of my own when they came off!

I think they’re soooo pretty, but just way too expensive to maintain.

@Miss Sharkbait:  Be careful with eyelash extension groupons. What has happened to some of my friends is that they chrge you the $40 but they do not put a full set (usually worth around $180) on. My first set took 2 1/2 hours to put on and two of my friends that had a groupon had their “full” set put on in less than 45 min…. So they most definitely didn’t get a full set for the deal.

I like to play with false eyelash,

and have read some of the experiences about the extension thingy from some friends

but i’m not into it though, and i think we will be more prettier without any fake things on our face on our special day, (that’s what my Fiance told me)..

But it’s all up to you ^_^

Love them, a little annoying because they hit into my sunglasses and you have to keep oil away from them, which I usually use for facials.  Worth it though.

I’d check out reveiews for the person though, it wasn’t something I wanted to go cheap on, I yelped the best one in the city and went to her just to be safe.
