I didn’t get fake eyelashes during my makeup trial but I did on the wedding day and I loved it.  Here’s a picture of my trial and a couple from the wedding day for reference.  I felt so much prettier for some day when my eyes stood out more.  I got the ones that were in smaller clusters instead of strips and I actually found mine at Walgreen’s for $3 plus $3 for glue too which was a great deal!

My eyelashes are already freakishly long so I’ll just wear some mascara.

I have very thin and short lashes. Even when I wear mascara I often don’t look like it. My make up artist applied individual fake lashes. I loved them! I wish I could use them every day.  They really made my eyes pop in the wedding pictures.

I had extenstions. This was a pic taken after my first set. They were super easy and I loved everything about them. No issues at all. I am having them put back on for the summer ๐Ÿ™‚

I kind of wanted to do false eye lashes becaue it just seems so glamourous, but my makeup artist said I didn’t need them.  I kind of wish I’d tried them just at the trial at least to see what they were like though.

My sister just introduced me to fake lashes- I am obsessed and def doing them on my wedding day.  But I am going to bring a few extras- our wedding is long (ceremony at 2pm into a night reception), and I feel like I will get a little teary- I would hate for them to come off!

Extensions are part of the makeup package with my makeup artist.  I’m super excited as I’ve never had them before.

@Keltaena: They are synthetic lashes that are adhered one by one to your real lashes. Mine were Xtreme lash. They use a surgical glue to adhere them so they stayed for 3 weeks or so and then you would need to have them filled, just like fake nails, they grow out, and some fall off. You can wear mascara with them as well. Here’s a link http://www.xtremelashes.com

I had some individual fake lashes put in but I have super long eyelashes so they didn’t add any length, just fullness. I loved them.

I’m doing fake lashes even though my natural are long, these just add something more to look different.

I’m so surprised by how many people are going with fake eyelashes!  My eyelashes are super long and lush already (my hair and eyebrows are really thick too, I guess that’s where I get it) so I’m just going natural (plus mascara–I’m a blonde!).  I thought fake lashes were only things drag queens and Dolly Parton wore LOL!!

I have never worn false eyelashes but I do plan to get them for my wedding. My eyelashes are long but not very thick so I am thinking some individual ones to fill them out.
