You definitely need to see a dermatologist or eye doctor (I’d call yours first and see who should  handle this) because I don’t think cetaphil would cause that!

Please see if you have any other symptoms and are continuing to lose hair in other places, it may be a sign of a thyroid condition.  I found out when my hair started to fall out.

Eyelash extensions like hair extensions will damage your lashes when they are taken off. Don’t know if its better to have amazing lashes now and then pay later? My friends have used Lastisse and saw results. The treatment runs about $199 here. The only problem with Lastisse is it can darken your eye color if you have brown or hazel eyes. You can look that up on the Lastisse website.

I am a huge fan of false eyelashes. They just make my eyes pop. I cannot put them on myself though. I have heard you can go on YouTube and learn how.  I would wear false eyelashes atleast once before the wedding so you can get used to them.  You will totally forget they are there after a few minutes, but the first time I wore them it felt a little different.   I have puny lashes and will be wearing falsies for sure!

I am getting eye lash extentions. Eye lashes take quite some time to grow back also. Id suggest a visit to the doctor to rule out any underlying conditions. The lash extention’s wont damage your lashes as they aren’t removed, they are naturally shed by ur bodies own processes. They last bout 8 weeks. I am getting mine done 1 week before hand so they settle down in time. Good luck darl

Latisse works wonders, and even though its by prescription only if you go to a MedSpa you just have to sign a few papers and off you go (no appointment needed at most places).

I’d pair that with fauz lashes. Just make sure they’re applied correctly and you won’t even be able to tell!

For those ladies that want to use something like Latisse but don’t want to get a prescription, Costco sells the same thing called RAPID LASH!!  It came with 2 containers, so my cowoker gave me her other one.  I’ve been using it, and it works!!  They reviews online are good too!

Oooo thanks Jingle! Man i wish this stuff was more affordable. I do wish I had longer prettier lashes though!

@miss run, DO bring extra glue with you. Both times i wore lashes, they tend to “lift” at the edges due to sweat or me mostly touching my face at some point. I pulled them off at my friend’s wedding b/c pictures were done and i sweat so much they just lifted. The ones for my wedding stayed on, except in the corner of my eye they lifted. Mom had nail clippers with her and had to hold me very still while she clipped off the lifting edge. Nasty, eh? Turns out I had extra glue with me the whole time!

Extra glue AND tweezers to help tack down any part of your lash strip that starts to lift. Just try not to accidentally touch your face. But I cried A LOT and kept having to dab with tissues which didn’t help. The tweezers will help you break stray glue strands, too.

PRACTICE with them in case you have to reapply.

I love rocking falsies (eyelashes, that is), but agree that they can be a mess. I really love using the individual ones (well, they are like a bunch of three lashes that you put on… you wear lots of the individual ones instead of one strip of lashes). That way, if one comes loose or you accidentally rub your eye, only one or two of the individuals come off, not the entire strip!

I would suggest MAC eyelashes or lash extensions.  Both are gorgeous and no one will notice a thing!  I’m so sorry this happened!

I apply eyelash extensions in NYC if you are in need for your wedding. They are semi-Perm lashes that last up to 4 weeks. Check out my site if you’re interested

Good luck!
