I was inspired by this knottie bio:
I want to have fabric draped along the aisle, but I don’t like the basic tulle that they sell in Michael’s – it’s too fluffy and the aisle at my church is too long, so I think it won’t look right. The fabric the knottie used looked so sleek. Can anyone direct me to what kind of fabric would work like that (and preferable not bankrupt me for both sides of a 70 foot aisle)? Thanks!

It looks like she used a chiffon. Try going to a fabric store and looking there. Joanne’s may have but you will get the best price if you go to a place that sells in bulk. check out the fashion districk of your city, New York especially has some great buys or look online. may be able to cut a bolt in half and either bast the edges, use fabric glue or even better use the iron on heming tape.

There’s a store in Louisville called Baer Fabrics, that has an online store as well. If you knew what you were looking for, you might be able to get a better price from them. It’s a huge fabric store!
