Another Clinique 3 Stepper here. The face and body acne soap bar is awesome! It lasts forever and cleared up my skin in 2 weeks. I started using it a month before my wedding b/c I was tired of my small bumpy breakouts on my forehead.  It gave me a great complexion and I can definitely tell the difference when I don’t use it.

I have terrible skin but in the past few years it’s gotten a ton better. Now instead of always having acne in HS, I now have clear skin with sometimes getting a pimple here and there.

I now use: The tea tree line at The Body Shop.

The best invitation ever was the Clarisonic (MIA is cheaper and works just the same as the normal size!) and Kate Somerville Quench (60.00) & Exfolikate (19.00 for travel size, 175.00 for large size) K.S is pricey but so worth it.

Honestly the best thing is to keep your skin clean and moisturized. If I work out, I immediately wash my face.

My face was really bad and so I started using the black african soap bar and it has helped a whole lot! It smells nice too. 🙂

It really depends on what type of skin you have. Most people think that acne prone skin is oily, but I have acne prone dry skin. What I suggest is looking up a list of comedogenic/irritating ingredients and comparing them to the products that you use/want to use. I’ve cut out all of those products and changed my regimen, and my skin is finally clearing up.

I use a benzoyl peroxide cleansing milk twice a day–massage into wet skin and then rub off with a wet washcloth. Twice a week I switch that out for a benzoyl peroxide scrub (with round beads that don’t tear your skin) at night. I follow that up with a moisturizer on damp skin (no toner, since that will remove the bpo residue that you want). I wear Everyday Minerals foundation. The skincare products I get from a local esthetician, but benzoyl peroxide (1.5%) or tea tree oil is good for acne.

I tried a facial brush (similar to a Clarisonic) and hated it; my skin is too sensitive to use something like that. Working out/sweating helps your pores clear out, too. Drink lots of water. Wash your pillow cases often (I wash all of my sheets/towels along with a cup of vinegar to kill bacteria). Don’t touch your face and wipe down anything that does frequently (especially phones and makeup brushes).

I use spectro gel, and find it works pretty well, surprisingly! And it is pretty inexpensive
