i voted no because generally i do not talk about my wedding at all on facebook. the only statuses i have ever written was when i got engaged, then when we chose a date, i wrote “April 19th it is!!” then since the 2 month mark i wrote “2 months to go!” and “1 month!” and before i depart to Jamaica i plan to post “i am off to Jamaica to marry the love of my life!”
as for invites, dress, or anything else, i don’t post a thing. i have seen other people do it on my list and i don’t even usually comment on them, whether or not i am invited…

oh and i concur about the Bee – this is where i post everything that i would otherwise want to put on FB! but its a lot more fun here, i get way more comments and people excited for me than i imagine i would on fb! i mean would my fb friends really get excited that i found an awesome cake topper?
one of my friends said to me recently that i am never on fb anymore, and i said because i replaced it with the bee!

I honestly don’t remember posting anything about my planning so I’m going to say no. I do occasionally post about my excitement, like my recent “can’t wait to marry the love of my life in exactly 3 months!”.. thats about it, and maybe once every 3-4 months

I didn’t post anyhting about it beyond changing my status to engaged, then, right after the wedding a couple of guests posted a bunch of wedding pics! Oops!

I just had a couple like “After four trips, I finally found my dress!” and I think the other one I posted was that we were able to book our church (it’s a public cathdral that is VERY hard to get!) but I don’t get too detailed…i’m sure most of my friends on FB could care less!

I havent posted anything yet. I have changed my status to engaged. When the time comes, I will post. Then again I am having a small church ceremony BUT anyone can come to the reception:)

There were only a few times I posted to facebook about our wedding. They were all like “exactly one month from today Ill be marrying this crazy man!” and then when I left here to go down to Georgia I put “4 days until I marry the love of my life” but that was it.

I’m too lazy to actually write whole blog posts, so I have a wedding twitter. If someone wants to know where I am with wedding planning they can read that. The only person following me so far is my Maid/Matron of Honor thouh lol!
Every now and then I do post something on FB, too.

I posted the “we’re engaged” post, and I also posted when I went dress shopping the first time, that’s all.

Eh only sometimes. If I end up talking wedding on someones wall I usually take it to a private message. Some girls I know ask for recommendations for vendors in their status which probably works great for them but I don’t like to do that on my wall.

No! I never post any wedding stuff on my facebook. I dont see why its necessary. I know a lot of people who post updates on facebook 2 years out from the wedding and keep updating us every 5 minutes… its irritates me lol! I dont want to hear about your wedding every day for two years.

The only thing I posted was along the lines of “my last status update was about cake, but i didn’t mean wedding cake, but now that you ask, I’d love to tell you all about wedding cake if you call me.”
And then two friends phoned! And we talked for a while. It was AWESOME.
I don’t post about the wedding because I’m not excited enough about the small decisions to share them, but I guarantee that morning I’ll post that I’m super excited and then after the wedding I’ll post pictures and stuff.

The only things I’ve posted are the “I’m Engaged!” one and responding to others’ congrats on my page…oh, I also posted the website.
I imagine when it gets nearer, I may post something like “1 Month to go!” or “Getting nervous…etc”
But I’m not inclined to post anything more detailed than that.

No, not at all. I changed my relationship status and my cousins left a few ‘we are so excited!’ Messages as the day got closer, but that’s about it. I did change my facebook profile picture to the obligatory wedding pic a few weeks ago.

I knew a girl who would write every pregnancy update possible on facebook and because of her graphic updates, I now know what a mucus plug is.
