I posted that we were engaged but I waited for a few days so that I could tell everyone close to me first. I also posted the colors I chose and that I was going dress shopping. I don’t think that’s too bad since I’ve been engaged since november….some people on my friends list who have been engaged recently who I’m not close to (so I know for a fact I won’t be invited) Have posted soooo many details. I really don’t mind, and I think it’s neat to see details, even if I won’t be there in the end.

I think I only posted about being engaged as of yet.
I made a private facebook group for the bridal party to get opinions on dresses and suits. I think it’s a great idea – especially if most of them have Facebooks and/or are coming from out of town.

Yeah I ended up making a page for all those that WERE invited and I would send updates there!

I think changing my status to engaged and posting two engagement pics (the silliest ones) have been the only wedding things I’ve done on Facebook. No ring pics, no status updates about venue shopping, dress fitting, and the like. I highly doubt I’ll post much of anything leading up to the wedding either. One friend tagged us in status update about how excited he was to get a STD, but we hid it from our walls because our wedding is quite small and we want to keep as much of on the downlow as possible.

Yeah about the same here. ANd as a matter of fact, I left my phone at home the night he proposed. But by the time I got to it there were tons of messages on my wall saying congrats! SMH lol
