So this is a bit random but what does everyone think about photos on Facebook of girls in their swim suits?
I see girls posting pics in their bedroom, bathroom, wherever else.. And it bothers be soo much! But when they are swimming I think it’s totally fine. So just curious do you post yours? What does every one think about seeing them?
Not going to lie I have posted my own(Pre-babies) pictures on a BEACH. And never really thought about people being offended or bothered by it, but now when I see girls I’m like what were you thinking? (Okay so maybe I’m just a little judgmental?)
What are your opinions?

You are being judgemental, yes.
I don’t think it’s an issue. Bikinis are standard fare for public beaches, pools, etc. during warm weather – what’s wrong with pictures in them on facebook? I just don’t get it.

I don’t think it is an issue if people are in situations where they should be wearing a bikini.. I don’t have a problem with girls taking selfies in their bedroom, but it just screams “I want attention”.

^This. If you’re at a beach, you’re just documenting what happened. You shouldn’t not take pictures just because you happen to be in a bikini! But selfies just to show off “hey I’m hot?”…I mean I hate selfies in general, lol

@Fruitypebbles193: I think beach/pool/etc photos with your bikini are fine – unless it’s one of those ‘barely there’ bikinis that reveal way to much, or just don’t fit you, then those should never be posted online, just my opinion. Random mirror photos of you in your bikini in the bathroom are weird and scream that you’re looking for attention. But then so are the people who post a billions ‘selfies’ all the time. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me lol.

@MissCalifornia: I defiantly should have reworded that. The ones that bother be are the bedroom shots. I’m defiantly okay with people at the beach. the bedroom ones i feel like people just want to show of their body when it’s 30 degrees outside. But I was just curious what other people’s thoughts were so thanks for your opinion! 🙂

There are several pics of me on my Facebook of me in a bikini from various shoots, contests, etc. taken by friends or photographers, no me in the bedroom mirror :-p. It’s not like I wear it around town or our house, it’s for an event or part of a job. Many girls on my friends list have the same kinds of photos posted, so no, it doesnt bother me.

Well, I guess I am the odd one out here, but I think it is totally inappropriate to post yourself in a bikini online.

I think it’s ok if you are somewhere it’s appropriate to be wearing a bikini…so at a pool, beach, water park, something outdoors, etc. If it’s in your bedroom or bathroom then I would find that extremely weird and it looks like you’re only seeking attention. But I think taking pictures of yourself in your own bathroom is kinda tacky no matter what you’re wearing.

I have photos in bikinis, including a shots both outdoors and indoors at my resort. Don’t really care what others think of it. Don’t actually care if I get likes or comments on them either. I like the photo and that’s all the matters. =)

I have no problem with bikini pictures, but as others have said, selfies annoy me because they’re boring.

i think beach photos are fine but bathroom selfies in bikinis are kind of weird to me

I’m with others that if you’re at the beach or pool it’s totally fine, but the selfies are just kind of immature in my opinion.
I have one pic of me modeling a bikini on FB (the shoot was done at the beach) and I’m even a little uncomfortable about that.

It makes sense when they’re at the beach and in their bathing suits, but when it’s an obvious cry for attention or in a setting where a bathing suit wasn’t necessary, it’s kind of silly. I don’t care in the long run, but from what I see, the ones that are obviously cries for attention and compliments rarely get any likes or comments from people.
If someone posted these non-stop, I would probably hide them.

I don’t see where it’s my place to judge other people for showing off their bodies. I think we need more body positivity in this world, not less. *shrug*
