Around 100. If it gets over that I try to cull a few.

I have no interest in being ‘friends’ with people I’m not actually friends with. Some I keep because I find them interesting, others because they’re the other half’s family. I talk to about 20 of them regularly.

My friend has over 1000 and it’s ridiculous. Her wall is just full of People like ‘Omg it’s been so long!!!! Call me!!!!!’ Eugh.

I’m just under 500. I deleted a lot of people who I only knew through wedding forums after the wedding. Most of them I would quite comfortably have a drink with if I saw them in the departure lounge of an airport.

I have 295. A very large chunk of them are family, as I have a HUGE family on my dad’s side!

1039. Use to be closer to 2000 but I cleaned up a few years ago. A lot of people from school (elementary, high school, college and university) and lots of people I work with (I work freelance so I’m always working with new people). Probably only about 100 close friends and family.

    239. It’s all family, people from grade school, a few college friends, some former coworkers, a few college professors, my close friends, FI’s close friends, a bunch of people from another message board that I’ve been on for over 10 years, a few people we met on a cruise a few years ago, and then a few people whom I met online a million years ago.

I go through and remove people every now and then.

I live fine without facebook. I had to laugh when I saw the comercial where this girl was going on about how she read some satistics about older people’s lives suffering without social networking. She signed her parents up for facebook then goes on about how she has 800 friends and says “now that’s living people”. It then shows her parents out moutain biking and actually living life while she’s at home gauking at people on facebook sitting at her computer. lol ya thats living. Most people only post how fantastic their lives are and how beautiful there family is and how great there life is. Awesome. I’d rather live it then post every step and move I make. Just saying my life is great lol

Only 36 and most of them are made up from my husbands family.  I hate adding people for the sake of it and would only have friends that are actually friends 😀

I currently have a little over 100. If it weren’t so time consuming to delete people, I’d have less. Seriously, why can’t we just mass delete people instead of deleting one, then having to start at the top of your friends list for every person?! I don’t really have any real life friends, and the majority of my Facebook friends are people I went to high school with, work with or members of my family. If I cut my list down to the people I actually talk to I’d probably have around 30 friends.

I have between 75-80 fb friends. In college, I had more like 200. After graduation, I decided to clean up my friend list because I was tired of seeing posts from high school “friends” that I hadn’t spoken to in four-five years. In the past couple of years, I have been much happier keeping my friend list to close friends and family. I feel comfortable posting for what I see as my intended audience only.
