My friend’s account was hacked and said a bunch of disgusting things I know she would never write. Makes me want to be done with fb altogether.

@hermitcrab: Seriously?, did you flag this photos or anything? I haven’t seen any hacking but I don’t spend a lot of time on FB.

this happened to my friends too! i’m going to change my password more frequently to prevent it…and always make sure i’m browsing on the secure {https:} site. scary!

It’s a sitewide issue and Facebook has acknowledged it. The thing is if people on your timeline continue to “bump” it in some way, by commenting or liking it or sharing it, it will continue to appear on your timeline. You can’t just “hide” it, but remove it as a highlight. It’s one of the options on items that are shared.

I saw a picture of a dude who had gotten shot in the head, his brain was splattered all over the ground, as well as tons of porn on my timeline. I hope they get it under control soon, otherwise FB is NSFW!
