I really don’t like the people that update their status to make people feel bad for them, attention seeking statuses. Like a coworker of mine wrote recently when she had a miscarriage at about 2 months in: ‘I want to let everyone know, that we have lost the baby. We know that he/she is in a better place now. Please pray for us.’
To each its own but I think people don’t understand the meaning of privacy anymore.

I had a ‘friend’ who posted an entire album of her and her partner with their still born … ugh… I still cant get the images out of my mind…
I am not a fan of the copy & paste status’ curing cancer, child abuse and eating disorders

Not a fan of cryptic/vague/dramatic posts that beg readers to ask, “What’s wrong? Everything ok?”
Also annoyed with those “It’s Sisters/Best Friends/Daughters Week” updates. Who comes up with these?!

I kind of get stuff like that, it to me would be much easier than having to tell everyone seperatly. And the thing is, if you don’t like it, don’t look or hide them.
Though I never get how fully grown adults can think pasting a status will cure cancer or anything….

Being someone who miscarried in June, I wouldn’t ever post something like that on FB! We barely told anyone but our immediate family and a few close friends. I understand that everyone grieves differently, but it was such a private thing for us.
My big pet peeve is the person who posts. Every. Five. Seconds. It drives me bananas. Those people are blocked from my feed almost immediately.
The other one is the person who only posts mommy posts. As in everything is about the hilarious thing their kid just did or said. Awesome site to see these is stfuparentsblog.com – I think this lady is hilarious!

I hate when people post songs, horoscopes, games they play, etc. It takes up so much room and drives me crazy when I am looking at in on my phone.

I don’t like when people post about working out constantly. Who really cares? Unless there is a specific reason or funny content, people need to learn to self-edit. I also hate the vague posts. Say what you mean or shut it!

Oh I hate pretty much all update types.
The cryptic attention seekers: Just my luck……can’t believe this is happening to me 🙁
The everything poster: 11:00- Takin’ a poopy..hehe…..11:45– Off to taco bell for lunch with Katie…..12:15– OMG just saw a bon Jovi look alike on the subway …..1:30 Ugg I hate doing homework…can’t wait till dinner at the lake!….. 5:00 Having dinner on a gorgeous lake.. ***~~* ….. and on and on and on!
The passive agressive: I wish when a freind said they would call me back they actually meant it.
The copy paster:Copy this text and put it in your status if you know someone or have heard of someone that knows someone. If you don’t know anyone or even if you’ve just heard of someone who doesn’t know anyone then do still copy this. It’s important to spread the message. And the hearts! ♥ ♥ ♥ For @&$#’s sake, don’t forget the @&$#ing hearts.♥ ♥ ♥ ♥!
The party pig: Getting wasted tonight at my place , can’t wait till its 5 oclock somewhere! Hit me up if you wanna join ( any one who talks excessively about getting drunk or drinking)

The copy pasters. It’s daughter/son/spouse/parent/sibling week every other week it seems like. Stop, people. Just stop. And all the if you or someone you know has had “Blank”, copy and paste. Or, “Only real friends who pay attention will re-post blahblahblah”. Again, just stop.
ETA: And the “friends and acquaintances” that promote their shitty fly by night, get rich quick scheme that they call a business, over and over and over again. Five times a day. No one is taking you seriously. Get over it. (Now, the legit businesses that advertise in a professional manner, no prob with)

@Eva Peron: Haha, I agree with all of those!

There’s one person whose posts I am sick of seeing. She often posts “I hope everyone has a great day today!” or something along that line, which is fine. But then she goes and complains about what a sh*tty day she’s having or how much she hates her job. So annoying.

I’m not a big fan of msg’s putting other people down… especially DJ’s… I have a ton of friends who are DJ’s and they put down other people because they “sold out” aka got famous. Isn’t that the point… to make money from your music? Ugh. Lately every other post from a few certain friends of mine are as follows:
“Skrillex caused the earthquake”
“Blame Skrillex for the bad weather”
“You can point the finger at Skrillex for all the commercials on today”
“Are you as bored as I am? This is all because of Skrillex”
I really want to SCREAM…. Jealous much? Skrillex is amazing and youre jealous… end of story.

@Eva Peron: YES ALL OF THOSE!! Hahahaha drives me crazy.
Also, and this could be me, but I hate when people call their boyfriends or even fiance’s ‘hubby’. Hubby means husband to most of the world, and that involves a ceremony and a significant amount of commitment and money. Just because you’re dating someone, doesn’t make him your ‘hubby’. Can’t stand that.
