ok this turned out to be a lot of questions
1)So i read that facials can lead to blotchiness or breakouts and general bad stuff. so on the actual wedding day it might not be a very good idea?
2) if it is a bad idea for wedding day, but i wanted a facial at some point (just because i enjoy them) how far before wedding day should i have one?
3) for wedding day itself, a body massage shouldnt have any negative effects? (if i did aromatherapy id wash off the oils after as i dont want to smell aromatherapy-y)
i was thinking about starting my day off with a relaxing treatment =)
4) Also i do the massage before hand, if everyone’s coming to my room for hair and makeup for the whole morning before wedding, would it be rude to leave them to go get my nails done quickly? or i should arrange it the day before?

I have skin that is oily and tends to breakout, so for me, I wouldn’t do a facial on the day of, rather, at least a week earlier, just in case there are breakouts and I have time to remedy them before the wedding.
As for the body massage, for me, I’d worry about breaking out on my back, so I would probably do that after the wedding (fun to do a couples’ massage the next day to de-stress!).
If you have to leave the room to get your nails done, they should understand. I think I’m getting my nails done the day before the wedding, though. 🙂

I would do the facial at least two weeks in advance if you are prone to breakouts
I’m a massage therapist. I don’t recommend getting a massage the day of your wedding. I can almost guarantee you won’t be able to relax. I would say do that the day before or even a few days before the wedding.
