    If I still had my eyebrow piercing (*tear* …maybe one day, again) I’d probably have taken it out for the whole day. Tried taking it out and putting it back in for other events, and ended up leaving it out for whole day.

    I have my nose piered… I feel like it’s pretty mainstream these days, so I have no intention of taking it out.  (not to mention removing it for a single day would be very painful, and leave a red welt on the side of my nose).  One thing I did do is swap out the silver stud for a rose gold one to match my wedding day jewellery better.  I did this well in advance though, so there would be no redness/swelling.

    I used to have a monroe piercing (I took it out for a job I took) if I still had it though I would have kept it in for sure! I still have a scar of wear it was, so I always still remember it ๐Ÿ™‚

    I have my monroe. I’m going to put my diamond in it with white gold.

    I don’t have any facial piercings myself but if its part of your style I would definitely suggest others to wear theirs.

    @gogogiraffes:That will look great! That’s always what I wore when I had it done

    I think if it’s all fit together nicely it’s totally fine.  I saw an acquaintances wedding pics on FB and she was wearing a lovely white lace dress and a pretty soft veil and she had a pair of earrings that were the anarchy symbol and a neon green tongue stud (that she apparently decided to make visible in EVERY pic) it just didn’t really match the rest of her look…

    Good post I was wondering the same thing! I have my nose pierced, but it’s sooo tiny people hardly know it’s there. Fiance has a thing for them and wants me to keep it in, (he actually wants a bigger one! He was vetoed on that one). I’m still undecided, but if I take it out it might be worse than if I keep it in. (hole/bump, ect).

    I have a vertical labret that I don’t wear usually (against dress code at work) but I wore it for both the ceremony and reception. I also have a nape piercing (which I wore) and a dermal implant (which obviously I wore) annnd the majority of my tattoos were showing.

    I think I still managed to look classy despite the mohawk LOL

    Lip:

    Dermal:

    Wrist Tattoo (I think I was waving to someone…):

    Back Tattoo (Erhm. You can sort of kind of see the tiny tattoo in between my shoulder blades):

    It’s up to you, I have my nose pierced and I’m not taking it out, but it’s tiny. It ultimately comes down to what you think about it! ๐Ÿ™‚ Like tattoos.. some people think they should be covered and some don’t. I think it depends on the person and wedding!

    @MissTatas:

    I agree, you somehow have managed to have a ‘classy mohawk’! It looks fantastic, especially the color =D

    @manders83: Ditto. I also have a nose piercing with a tiny gem, and I’ll be keeping it in.
