Sounds like it’S working out for you. When I read this I thought about a similar situation my cousin was in with his wedding although the venue just closed and didn’T tell them nor return their deposit and they had no way of getting compensation and little time to find a replacement venue. They went from a lovely banquet facility on a lake with grounds for taking photos  to a banquet hall attached to a restaurant in the middle of a small city. The silver lining is that he food was good and it rained so outdoor photos were lost regardless of the venue.

I’m sorry you had to go through this, but i’m sure your new venue probably will other highlights that are unforeseen now. Your blessed to have found another alternative in such short notice, I’m sure it going to work out for better. Congrats.
