Could you be pregnant? Yes. It is unlikely you ovulated 23 days ago and got pregnant 23 days ago. That line would be bold pink If you are 23 dpo.

If the line gets darker you are maybe 8-10 dpo today

So I see a line in the 2nd photo but I would guess your dates have to be off. Implantation occurs 6-12 days after ovulation so it’s likely you O’d later than you think. FX for a sticky bean!

I’m going with the others here… I’m thinking your cramping a week and a half ago was likely you ovulating.  It’s hard to tell if that line is an evap with these pictures.  Did you take the pictures withing the 10 minute window after you took the test?

Sarah33 :  I would just wait a day or two and test with an FRER.  Ovulation happens 10-16 days (on average 14 days) before your period.  It wouldn’t make sense for you to ovulate 23 days ago.  My guess is you haven’t been calculating your ovulation correctly if you typically ovulate around the same time every cycle but your period was only due 3 days ago?  Have you tried using OPKs to detect your LH surge or temping BBT to confirm ovulation?

Sarah33 :  Apps aren’t accurate unless you’re plugging in data (more than just the first day of your period).  I recommend using Ovulation Predictor Kits to track your LH surge (which typically happens 12-48 hours before you ovulate) and taking your basal body temperature to confirm you ovulated.  Otherwise, if you have sex every other day, there’s a 90% chance you’ll get pregnant within a year.  And this is all advice if you’re not pregnant now.  If your period was really supposed to come 3 days ago, you would be getting a blazing positive.  My guess is that you ovulated a week and a half ago based on your test up there if it’s positive.

You are typically fertile about 3-5 days leading up to ovulation, and the egg only sticks around for 12 hours after you ovulate.

FRER = First Response Early Result.  It’s the recommended early pregnancy test on the market because it can detect the lowest amount of HCG out of all pregnancy tests… although, I’ve seen a lot of evaps on those lately.

Sarah33 :  9/21 was not 23 days ago. That’s why everyone is confused. You said you ovulated 23 days ago, but based on the new dates you gave, I think you meant to say you ovulated somewhere around 9/21 which makes you approximately 17dpo. That still doesn’t really mesh up with how faint your tests are, and those apps are literally useless unless you are extremely regular without BCP. Either way, it does look positive to me! I would test again in a couple of days.
