I cant see any colour in that 2nd line.. It looks like an indent line. Awful to get your hopes up though 🙁

I had a false positive on a frer last yr. I actually used the same cup of urine to dip the second test to confirm and it was negative. I also had bloods done and it was also 2. The Remaining frer in the packet was negative as well. I emailed them and they said false results can happen and I got some free tests. My line was a lot darker than yours though looked extremely realistic even in photos.

I had 5 false positives on frers last year, and they looked even darker than yours! My level was 2.2, so weird. Here is a pic

They tracked my HCG down after a MC and I took a test with an hour of my last draw just for shits. With an HCG of 6 their was a visible line.

Try a different test.  Clearblue with weeks picked mine up the same time the wondfo did, which based on my HCG was somewhere probably between 15 and 20.  No lines the day before that.  The new FRERs are not worth the money; they’re glitchy.

No advice, but I just want to say that I really hope your blood HCG goes up-it will be so cruel if the FRERs are giving you false hope. Crossing my fingers for you!

Have you got your second beta results? They look like they are getting darker.

The Frers (at least for me) are very sensitive. I just had a “possible ectopic” after an IVF cycle and clinic was monitoring my hcg droping every other day. I would do a frer or a wondfo just for the heck of it same day as the blood draw – I had a visible pink line with hcg of 7. At hcg of 30, the line was dark pink (not a squinter by any means). I think the “sensitive” tests are great for early detection, but frer is taking it too far with how low the hcg threshold is to show a line. Basically, every time I see a frer “squinter” I automatically think – impending chemical pregnancy as it is soo sensitive to show a line but light line means very low hcg.
