I took a test yesterday and then again this morning to be sure. Both positive! I was due Saturday and have been cramping all weekend. I am so excited to see any positive since we’ve been trying for almost a year, now I’m just worried it might be a chemical pregnancy or just a false alarm. Has anyone ever had so much cramping and had everything turn out okay? I am making an appointment as soon as possible, calling first thing in the morning, but wanted something to hope for. Thanks (:

@hellocupcake: i was extremely crampy the beginning of my pregnancy. in fact, that’s the whole reason i decided to take a pregnancy test! my cramps were like period cramps but very intense, and lasted about a week, maybe a bit more.

Yay, thank you. I’ve been driving myself crazy thinking about it. I’m glad I’m not alone in this symptom. It still seems to good to be true!

It’s always faint at first (unless you have serious will power and don’t test until 20dpo!). My lines weren’t dark until at least 18dpo. Congrats!

I did have some faint positives – and they got darker and darker as the days went on 🙂 I had pully-crampy type feeling until close to the end of first tri. As long as it’s not accompanied by bleeding – then call your OB, but even in that case, not all bleeding is bad! There are lots of ladies who had even a lot of bleeding and had healthy pregnancies – but always safest to call your doc if you’re worried.
good luck and congrats!

My positive for this pregnancy was pretty faint, and even though it was only 10dpo, it freaked me the crap out too. So I waited 5 days and took a digital, just to be sure. I have had 2 chemical pregnancies, in Jan and Feb, and so I was really worried about the faintness of the line too, but 5 days later, the digital said “Pregnant” and I’m 5wk3d today. So don’t worry! Faint lines just mean it’s early:) And my faint line at 10dpo was on a FRER, which is the most sensitive test. If you are using an internet cheapie, those seem to take a LONG time to get a dark line. Congratulations:)

@hellocupcake: Yes! I was really crampy for probably the first 5 ish weeks of pregnancy. That’s partially how I figured out that I was pregnant because that was so unusual for me. I also had a faint BFP on 9dpo and it got progressively darker as the days went on.

I’ll load a picture of my positive up. It was so faint that Fiance argued vehemently that I wasn’t pregnant. All 4 tests looked like this..and it shows up MORE in the pictures, because of the flash. Pretty much invisible in person.
My fingers are crossed for you!!!!

Yep, definitely there! CONGRATS!

My first test looked pretty much exactly like the_future_mrs ‘s test. I tested at ~10 dpo, and by ~14 dpo it was much darker. I’ve also been cramping on and off ever since then (so, for the past 2 weeks). So, no worries!
