Nope, I really don’t tan any way.  I just turn a lobster red.

@tksjewelry:

I must have the same skin tone as you as I just turn red.

I may but I might go and do a trial to see what it looks like on me and see if I can carry it off. My friend had one done two days before her big day and she was really scared about it straight after as the tan was so dark, but after she washed it off the next day it did look great.

I won’t be. I thought about and but then decided just to look like myself. I don’t tan very easily so it would take a long time and wouldn’t look natural!!

I’ll probably try and spend a little extra time outside just to get a bit of a healthy glow, but I’m happy in my pasty whiteness.

I did!

And I don’t even look tanned in my wedding pictures (I started in May, my wedding was in August; however, I started with 3 minutes in the bed LOL). I was REALLY tanned for me but compared to ‘normal’ people it just made me not look sickly pale. Which is how I look now LOL!

@FMM: You look BEAUTIFUL! Love your smile! Yeah, you have a glow but you’re not dark. I plan to start in January or Februrary at the latest.

I can’t tan for health reasons though I WISH I could. I pretty much glow in the dark. I’ll more than likely get a spray on tan a few days before. My Future Sister-In-Law went that route and it worked out pretty good for her.

I plan on doing a little bit of tanning- only because I am very fair skinned and my wedding is in February. I also want to make sure I don’t have any left-over tan lines from the summer- that wouldn’t be too great with my strapless dress! (I did this for prom in high school and it worked out well)

I didn’t.  I don’t tan, I burn.  I was pale and proud of it.

Heck no.

I get a mild sunburn on a cloudy day in August and a full on deep red hot-to-the-touch burn on a sunny day in October.

Pale and proud!

Nope!  I have to avoid the sun, as sunlight can cause my Lupus to flare.  But even if it didn’t, I wouldn’t tan.  I love my fair skin.

I love being tan, so we bought an air brusher on ebay awhile back for $50 & FH sprays me every week.  He’s pretty good at it–sorta like painting a fence!

I’ll have him spray me the day before, which is tomorrow.
