ChicoryCreek:  STOP that’s an AWESOME idea!!  FI and I are gluten free (me by diagnosis, him by choice) so we can’t have croutons anyway but I loooove them.  Thanks for sharing!!!

I make croutons out of parmesan cheese for a low-carb crouton solution. I put shaved parmesan in a nonstick pan and cook it until it browns on both sides. After you take it out of the pan it will harden and can be broken up to add some texture to a salad.

HOw long and at what temp did you bake them? Sounds good!
