The DUO adhesive has been highly recommended by lots of makeup artists and gurus, so I would definitely start with that.  I’ve seen them sold everywhere that sells fake lashes.

The individual lashes are supposed to be the most natural looking, but I suck at application and everything goes wonky lol.  Most people have more talent than me though.  I like using the Ardell Naturals strips (with the clear band), since they’re easier to camouflage.

Lisa Eldridge on youtube has two false lash videos that are worth checking out.

If you can find them at a beauty supply in your area buy the KISS brand strip lashes, and Lashgrip strip lash adhesive works awesome. The lashes have the natural curve of your eyelid when you get them and they hold their shape so they’re really easy to align and put on…I wear them almost everyday and I’ve yet to find a better brand

Oh AND I’ve used the individual lashes once before and theyre a pain in the butt…take way longer to put on and take off…I lost my patience after one eye

Individual lashes are really difficult to use, even the professional makeup artists I know don’t use them. I am quite competent at doing falsies, and the individual ones are really hard to align properly. You end up with lashes sticking out in every direction.

Much easier are thr strips – they still look natural in photos – and also individual segments, maybe a quarter of a centimeter wide. You can get them in sets of 10 (5 for each eye) and they give you a natural look without being as fussy as the individual lashes.

Make Up For Ever and Shu Uemura are the best for lashes, they sell kits which include glue too. The MUFE glue is the best I’ve used.

Asian lashes are good. They look natural and not as draggish as some drugstore lashes. Koreans make good eyelashes. The Shisem or the Darkness XO lashes are pretty natural looking when they’re on.

MAC also makes nice crisscross lashes.

Ardell makes amazing lashes and Salon Perfect has a few dupes for the Ardell ones, but a few bucks cheaper. I like the Ardell Demi Wispies. As far as glue, DUO and Revlon both make amazing glue…it just depends if you like a squeeze tube or a wand. I’ve linked some helpful lash videos! (:

I just ordered Red Cherry lashes #43. I’ve heard amazing things about Red Cherry brand and they’re very inexpensive. I also bought the DUO lash adhesive in black. I’ve used Ardell which are really nice and Makeup Forever lashes in Genevieve. The lash glue of MUFE is really good but I wanted to try DUO.

I wear false eyelashes everyday. I find them so much easier then applying layer after layer of mascara. Ardell Demi wispies are the best for sure! Eyelure is the easiest glue to work with, but I don’t like the lashes as much. Unfortunately I can’t seem to find the glue sold on its own so I have to buy a pair of Eyelure lashes just for the glue. It’s applied with a wand and the glue is an easier consistency than the glue in a tube.

I’m using Ardell lashes with DUO glue for my wedding. I’ve heard great things about them.
