the clustered ones look more natural, but they’re more difficult to apply.  i used to be a false lash addict (the clustered kind)!

I think for pictures though, the one that goes across your whole lash line is best.

Mrs. Caramel wrote a great post on it that might be helpful: http://www.weddingbee.com/2007/09/19/fake-lashes/

And I always apply them after eyeliner, but before mascara.  Mascara helps blend your real lashes and your false lashes together.

Good luck!

I had my make-up/hair trial last week. They used a half lash, which worked for my look.. I didn’t have to pay extra for them and the artist applied them. like mrs.bee said, eyeliner, lashes then mascara.

Here is a link to the pictures

Definitely start practicing now.  You can get them for 1 dollar at http://www.eyeslipsface.com/home

I LOVE fake eyelashes 🙂 Definitely put them on after eyeliner, but before mascara. I like MAC lashes (the full strip, not individual lashes) http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY15100&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1546 and DUO adhesive http://www.falseeyelashesstore.com/images/FEimages/DSA01NO1.jpg

I apply a thin layer of adhesive to the strip and place them on. Practice, practice, practice 🙂

Good luck 🙂

Oh and I Forgot to write, if you talk to the MAC consultants… they will explain how to put them on. Though, I would suggest you ask your make up artist to put them on you the day of…

if you are doing your own makeup…. do a trial first. Those things can be tricky to put on at times … especially if you are nervous

I used to work at a bar in the New Orleans’ French Quarter, and every time I decided to wear fake lashes, I had to find this one drag queen to put them on.  (Did I mention it was a gay bar I worked at, so drag queens weren’t in short supply?)

I’m glad my boss told me she’s hiring a kick a$$ makeup artist for my wedding day because I’m a total spaz when it comes to the fake lashes.

I was going to wear false eyelashes, but they came off about 5 hours after my trial, so I didn’t want to risk it.  Instead I did eyelash extensions.  They were AMAZING and lasted all through my honeymoon!  I’m going to try to add a picture.
