marie2018 :  Yes! I used ecoflower. I had the bouquets custom made, but for my centerpieces I took apart larger bouquets and made new ones myself.

ETA: we had our wedidng on Earth Day and I made sure all decor was made from recycled materials. ecoflower is made from recycled materials which is why I went with them! They have some really lovely bouquets that look a little more natural than what mine did, but I didn’t care about them looking real, I cared about being eco-friendly

My grandma hand made all our decor and bouquets and had entire creative control as to what colors and designs she wanted to use.

These are so pretty. I’m following because I am looking for ways to incorporate more floral decor on our tables without having to pay any more money to our florist… I’m still a little sick over my $350 bouquet…

loveisbrewing :  Yeap 🙂 It was HOT! But this is where I am from and most of our guests are used to it. So it didn’t bother us. 🙂

loveisbrewing :  I think you are being a little rude for no reason. It wasn’t your wedding day and you weren’t a guest, so it doesn’t effect you, this post is about flower arrangements not the weather.

marie2018 :  My friend had wooden flowers made for her boquet, as well as ours as BM’s I don’t have a picture of them but they looked like:

olivebutton :  it’s very inconsiderate to your invited guests to make them spend hours outside in deadly heat.  No way around it.

marie2018 :  I’m getting married in Oct so don’t have any pics but we’re getting real flowers from the local Kroger. It’s gonna be cheaper than the fake flowers, at least what my sister put together. We’re only having about 30 guests and just a matron of honor/best man each so for two bouquets, two boutineers, and 10 bouquets for centerpieces for the reception it will be around $200 total. I’ve read about other people using Costco for bulk flowers also.

loveisbrewing :  Did you really come here to berate someone about the heat on their wedding day?

garnobella :  everyone should have a backup plan in case of inclement weather.  Would you except your guests to sit outside in the rain with no cover for your wedding?
