I’ve posted my bouquet on here before, but here are my bridesmaid bouquets too! We used silks and I’m in love! I couldn’t justify so much money on something that will die, and it’s been so nice to knock these out in advance without worrying about how they’ll look or what will be in season.

I would be a little nervous about the quality of silks at $300 for supplies and labor though for all that. We are right at $1000 for supplies for my bouquet, 9 bridesmaid bouquets, 5 corsages, and 13 bouts. Obviously that’s more than 17 pieces, but definitely not triple.

wilkensbee :  the Olivia is sooooo pretty! It’s hard to choice just one collection. I have a good while before I have to choose but I am tossing around the idea of mixing & matching. I can’t wait to hear about your experience. I hope you have a great wedding day!

I used fake flowers for everything except the cake because I wanted to be able to arrange them ahead of time. If anyone didn’t like my flowers they didn’t say anything to me.

I had all faux (well kinda, at least nothing that would wilt). I had a sola flower bouquet and garlands. The sola flower bouquet and garlands also had real dried lavender and real dried wheat in them and the garlands themselves were real honeysuckle vine. They were from Treasured Florals on Etsy. My Maid and Matron Of Honors bouquets were also sola flowers, they were from Novel Expressions and had these cute book page flowers in them. I also had two swags from Hobby Lobby and one lambs ear garland from Hobby Lobby. We also had real dried lavender bunches scattered around.

frenchtoastvegan :  I don’t have photos yet, but I thought the flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms were beautiful, and definitely looked real! Plus they were packaged safely and it was easy to pack them back up and return them. I would definitely recommend them 🙂

We haven’t had the wedding yet, but other than the bouquet which is being provided in our package (we are having Vegas chapel wedding), all flowers will be silk. My sister is making the arrangement for us

I may be going to fake flower route too since I have bad allergies to flowers. However, I have been told by florists that silf fake flowers are sometime MORE expensive…not sure what I’ll end up doing.

Either way I’m not over-doing it with flower decorations whether real or fake. I haven’t decided as of yet

Another option you might want to consider is buying flowers off another local bride after her reception. Check out Bouquet for a Day (bouquetforaday.com)
