    I’m not planning on wearing them. I do wear falsies for special events sometimes, but I have really sensotove eyes aind they irritate my eyes on certain days. Sometimes I’m totally fine with them, and sometimes they drive me crazy. I also wear contacts, and I’m sure I will be crying that day, so I will probably skip them just to avoid another possible source of eye irritation. I have long, thick eyelashes naturally, so I think I will look fine without them and with some great mascara, although obviously it won’t be quite as dramatic of a look.

    They make your pictures look AWESOME! πŸ˜€ I don’t have any pro pics yet πŸ™ But! They look awesome!! Use them!! (If you don’t wear them a lot, though, be prepared for your eyes to feel weird for about 30 minutes or so lol)

    @CarterLove:  I’m a huge fan of fake lashes- I say absolutely wear them! I get permanent extensions every month, but used fake lashes all the time before getting the permanent.  A few tips: Buy the black glue (ultimately the white dries clear, but if you’re not familier with it the black is just better). I think it’s $8 at any drug store/target. Buy lashes that have a thinner base (the line that holds all the lashes together). The thicker the base, the harder they are to shape around your eye. To put the glue on drop a glob on a piece of paper, or your hand, swipe the base of the lash through the glue, let dry for 15 seconds, and then shape to your eye, pressing gently to allow it to stick and dry. L’oreal has great lashes, but really they are all fine (as long as they have the thin base). I have a Mac Pro card and don’t think their lashes are any better than drug store-even with my discount (sorry Mac!!).

    Good luck! If you have more questions feel free to message me πŸ™‚

    I did. The MUA put in the little bunches instead of a strip. I don’t think I’d feel comfortable putting those little guys in if I was DIYing though.

    I tried out individual eyelash extensions for our engagement shoot. While they looked amazing and were a breeze to get applied, they irritated my eyes to no end. Every time I woke up, took a shower, etc and I was really careful not to get them wet for the first 48 hours. I don’t want to be worried about my eyes burning in case I cry on my wedding day so sadly, no falsies for me.

    @CarterLove:  No matter how many times I practiced I could never get it to stay on comfortably… so no, I had them with me but in the end I just didn’t want to stress over it.

    My makeup guy put a few of the individual ones on me – they were great and looked natural, but gave my eyes a bit more oomph.

    I don’t like the look of fake lashes in person, particularly, so I’ll go without.

    Touching up lashes in photos, if needed, is quick and easy for a photographer, so that’s not really a factor for me. Just wanna look like the best version of my everyday self on my wedding day.

    @CarterLove:  I don’t wear much makeup, so fake lashes would’ve looked freaky on me πŸ™‚ Haha I didn’t want to look back at my wedding day pictures and think “WHAT THE HECK was I wearing?”

    @freshflowers:  Thanks! I am not sure what color that is, I’ll ask my friend who did all of my makeup and get back to you.

    @CarterLove:  Ardell Demi Whispies (I used the purple ones – they were actually electric purple and amazing! very subtle surprisingly and made my eyes pop!) πŸ™‚ and Duo Eyelash Glue – you can purchase that at Sephora πŸ™‚ best glue out there!

    My MUA put them on.  I think they really help make your eyes stand out in pics.

    I have very, very sensitive eyes & found them quite comfortable.

    @CarterLove:  I plan on wearing them. My eyelashes are naturally curly so you cant even see them. So I need a bit a drama. Don’t know if ill be using medium length or a longer length but my nail shop does them.

    @MrsSkeletonKey:  I really like your makeup. It’s heavier than a ‘natural’ look…and that’s EXACTLY what I want!

    @CarterLove:  I will definitely wear lashes on my wedding day. To be completely honest with you,  if I knew how to do them myself,  I would wear them almost every day.

    I’m not getting married until October but I am getting eyelash extensions before our engagement shoot next month and then getting fills until the big day.
