I hadn’t even considered it but my MUA mentioned it at my trial. She said I don’t need them because my eyelashes are already thick and long but now I am considering just a few…hmm.

@CarterLove:  I did my own makeup as well, and used individual false lashes by Quo. Much nicer to have on then a big thick strip, in my opinion, and easy to apply. They looked quite natural, just adding a bit of extra oomph the the outer edges of my eyes.

I bought a whole heap of Red Cherry lashes because they wre so cheap. I experimented with a couple until I found the ones I liked best. My bridesmaids took their pick from the unopened ones I had left 🙂

I didn’t but I have decently long lashes. When I did boudoir photos, they put them on and the lashes drove me nuts the entire time. I think it may have been an allergy to the glue.

I used the Katy Perry “Oh Honey” lashes (lol) and they were fantastic… I am glad I used them because in a lot of the pictures if I hadn’t you definitely would’ve missed that I had lashes at all.

I definitely will be. But I trim the strip so it starts in the middle of my eye, and they look way more natural but still awesome. Doing my own makeup as well.

I didn’t wear them. I tried them for my trial and they just drove me crazy. I couldn’t even open my eyes all the way. lol. So, for the wedding I just had he put more mascara on until I got the look I wanted. 🙂

YES!!! Fake eyelashes can glam up ANY look. I think they are a must…especially for all the photogarphs taken at a wedding, they really give your makeup that “oomph”. Look at the difference side by side of the same makeup look with and without false eyelashes and you will see!

My favorites are the Ardell demi wispies…they are dramatic on the end but have a flare to them that appears natural yet dramatic…anyone who has worn these specific lashes knows what I am talking about. I agree with PP’s definitely start practicing now because it does take a little bit of practice to get them on…but after a few tries you shoud be good. Make sure you also invest in a good lash glue…no point of having nice false eyelashes if they are just going to fall off. I suggest the Duo brand lash adhesive (in clear) or the revlon lash glue (in clear).

    Best of luck!

@CarterLove:  I think mine were MAC as well. You just have to pick natural ones….they are great.

No, but I wish I did! I don’t like how my eyes don’t “pop” in our wedding pictures, and I think fake lashes would have helped that a lot.

@CarterLove:  I didn’t wear them because I have naturally long eyelashes and I don’t like the way fake lashes feel.

I second what others have said about experimenting and finding a brand that looks natural for you. Maybe go to a makeup counter and chat with the employees and see if that recommend a brand that’s easy to apply.
