Not sure but i want to do a break away of roses so everyone gets at least one rose — with a small clump of a 3 differnt colored roses as the “winner”  my bridal party is all Mr. Geek and I’s Neices and nephews so the single girls contain lots of teens and tweens  I thought his would be cute.  Silk would probably be most cost effective and since I plan to toss it from the balcony they might survive better.

Are you hoping for the person who catches the toss to keep the flowers forever? If so fake would probably be the way to go. Also, are you planning on preserving your bouquet? If you are, you probably don’t want to be hurling it around willy nilly.

I’m not doing a toss, though if I am goaded into doing one I will be tossing real flowers–though I might just start tossing all the flowers since I am such a spazz 😛

If I was doing a toss, I would prefer real flowers. I don’t like fake flowers, but that’s just me. I don’t know anyone who would keep them either.

I’m doing the same thing as caitrainbow and it only cost about $20.

I’ve been to 2 weddings where the bouquets tossed were fake.  I caught them both.  I still have them.  I know that is kinda strange, but I was a little kid and it felt like the coolest thing ever to catch them!

It depends on whether or not your real bouquet has really fragile flowers on it and if you want to preserve the real one for afterwards. If you are not worried about it getting messed up then I would just use the real one. I’m not a huge fan of fake flowers, so that is probably really influencing my opinion.

i didn’t want to toss my bouquet because i didn’t want it ripped to shreds by all the ladies so i tossed my moh’s (my sister and only bridesmaid)…and, i’m sure much to the dismay of all the single ladies, i tossed it directly to her 🙂

Im using real flowers…Im not tossing mine bc most everyone at my wedding will be married, and i just didnt think it would be that much fun with 4 girls.  Im giving mine to my brothers girlfriend(also the mother of my niece)   They are planning a wedding so i thought it would be a nice touch.
