hahaha Welcome to my UNnormalness (yea.. its a Tiffy word)

I’ve done bought a fake wedding set to get idiots from hitting on me a few years back and since then I put them together imagining what my real set would look like haha

I still do it even with my engagement ring because I have no luck finding a bridal set I like so far

I have a promise ring from SO that I wear on that finger; it stops guys from hitting on me and makes us both feel better. But, I do wear my costume jewlery on that hand sometimes. Hey, we’re allowed to pretend sometimes : )

i had one when i was “waiting”. i’d wear it alone in my house or when i was shopping alone or something… it was very comforting to me πŸ™‚

It’s my crazy person ring. now i’ll use it as a stand in when i’m worried about wearing my real ring. here’s a pic! top one is the fake  πŸ™‚

My Boyfriend or Best Friend and I bought a fake ring to test out ring sizes as i’m kind of inbetween sizes (damn these large knuckles!) its a real cheapie CZ ring that sparkles like crazy, and I wear it around the house all the time (Embarassedin fact i’m actually wearing it now)

My Boyfriend or Best Friend thinks its hilarious, and quite often puts it on the proper finger, though most of the time i wear it on the right. (when i get really down i put it on that finger – just for a little while – golly, how juvenile does that sound! lol)

oh this is so me! I have a 3 stone ring ($15 from Target and it’s sterling silver!) and I used to wear it on THAT finger all the time… then I lost about 40lbs and it became too loose! I NEED to get another one! lol

Haha, I don’t think that’s odd at all. I used to have a friend who bought herself a ring for that finger as a sign that she’s an independent woman and doesn’t need a man πŸ˜€

And I also went crazy in cheap jewelry stores, trying on anything that might resemble and engagement ring. Sadly, I have tiny fingers and never found one that fit, but if I did, I would’ve bought one! Just to see how it might feel.

PS: you ladies have some really cute cheer-up rings, @Mrs Eye wannabe & @betty_spaghetti !

I bought a fake ring from QVC back when I was in college and kept it in my jewelry box for years. (And I often tried it on just to wear around the house when I was by myself!) A few days before my birthday this year, my parents had come down to the city for my birthday dinner and – since I knew Fiance had bought the ring, even though we weren’t officially engaged yet – I had scheduled a venue visit with my dream venue the next day.

The morning of the venue visit, I felt sort of weird going to check out this place without a ring on my finger, so I slipped on my fake one and paraded around, showing it off to my Fiance like, “Look, it’s so sparkly! This is what my finger will look like when we’re engaged!”

And he got the cutest grin and was like, “Wouldn’t you rather wear the real thing?” And he went and got the ring from its hiding place and proposed!

I won’t lie, I totally did this and wore it during the work day when I drove from appointment to appointment. Crazypants, I know, but I totally felt better.
