Is it just me or does Fall make you want to clean out your house? I understand the concept of Spring cleaning, everything is coming alive again, let’s open up all the doors and windows and clean out the house, but I just can’t get on board with that. When I think of opening up all the doors and airing out my house, and finding gobs of things to donate and clean, I think of Fall.
Something about the cool, crisp air, all of the yummy fall candles… Anybody else with me?

It’s so funny you posted this. I feel the exact same way. FI and I spent all of yesterday redecorating, organizing, and making our apartment a bit more homey. I have been calling it “wife” nesting because of the wedding being so stinkin’ close.

Spring is more likely to make me want to clean. It usually goes a little something like this:

@Rouquine: HAHA! I’m not a wifey, or a fiance yet, but I feel the same way. Sometimes I just get a hair up my butt about reorganizing and cleaning. But the fall air has just hit here and it has perked me right up! Heck, we’ve been living in our home for 3 1/2 years and today if you asked me what the highest priority would be, it would be getting our basement fireplace to work. Why now? Who knows! Something about now seems good!
@MissBoPeep: (I had this little dude pictured when I said “ALL the seasons!”) This is exactly me. I realize all that I want to do and some of the moneys and time it takes, and then I has a sad 🙁

Fall. In the spring my logic is usually “it’s too nice to clean” and in the fall I tend to think “oh sh*t I’m about to spend months trapped in this place, I should clean”

I’m an all seasons – must clean something when I notice it is dirty type person!
I may be a little OCD, but none the less the anxiety takes over and if I see something dirty, cluttered, or unorganized it bugs the shit out of me until I clean, de-clutter, or organize it!

@MissBoPeep: This is EXACTLY what I thought of when I chose the last poll option!
