What are your thoughts on having colours typically associated with Autumn/Fall or Winter, such as oxblood/burgundy/wine red, for flowers and bridesmaid dresses for a summer wedding? Would you think it strange? I would love to hear from you if you went with this!

nope! Those are my fav colors so I’d understand. But IDGAF what others think.

I think it’s totally fine, especially if you’re jsut doing one colour rather than a full autumn pallette. Colours are colours, they don’t have to be attached to seasons.

I have wine as a color for my spring wedding so I don’t see anything wrong with it.

Do what you want!
I’m having Royal blue in June.

I totally say do what you want. If you’re nervous about it, look for flowers in the right color but not a “fall flower” maybe. For example, you can get burgundy roses or you can get burgundy mums. Big difference there.
Not typical fall flowers:

I’d say go for it! I love janna121215
‘s suggestion about not using “fall flowers.” If you’re seriously worried about it, add a bright accent color that is decidedly not fall, like aqua or a pale purple or pink.
