@WhatMaeBee:  those are gorgeous!! I say go for it..even if it’s early Fall. It’s beautiful..i had a late fall wedding and my bridesmaids had a bouquet of purples, ivory, and greens

I really love that third one. The rich purple keeps it being too summery, but I think the lilac shade and bright pinks and greens are really fresh. 

Are you planning on picking your flowers and then basing your colors on those, or do you already have colors picked? (We picked invitations we liked and then used those colors–aubergine, cranberry, gold.)

ETA: The flowers in the first bouquet are various kinds of mums and roses.

I think the flowers in the first pic are protea (the large one) callas, hypericum berries, callas, roses, green button mums- not sure about the sprays of orange and yellow.

I love all of those!  And personally, I consider September to be a “fall wedding.”  Smile  To me, any time after Labor Day is autumn to me.  Do what you want with your colors & decorations!
