I wanted to give out a good fall treat as our favor. I had thought of caramel apples, but after looking into it, they were going to be really expensive. So I came up with carmel drizzled popcorn balls. I am going to wrap them in a clear cellophane bag and tie an aubergine ribbon (our color) a circular metal charm that says thank you and place them at each table setting! Anybody have comments on the idea?

If you want caramel apples, make your own. They’re not difficult and are a fraction of the price that you can buy them for (and most for sale online are not even true caramel apples but that is another topic).
Otherwise, go with something edible or else skip them since folks will not miss them and they are not rquired.
Some ideas for fall that most people love:
Homemade jam or apple butter
Cookies (in fall shapes?)
Anything chocolate or pumpkin
Mini loaves of pumpkin or zucchini bread
As for the popcorn balls, there will be some who love the idea and others who don’t care for them. that will happen with any favor. If that is what you want and you know your guests will eat it, then go for it.
