I just bought some Yankee Candles in Harvest and Pumpkin Spice. I love the scents, but am a bit dissappointed in their strength. I love the ones from Walmart…they are cheap and it doesn’t bother me so much if they don’t burn perfectly event.
I’ve been on a kick with an online retailer of Soy candles… http://www.serfozos.com. They burn really evenly and have a very strong scent, even the tealights. I’ve never had a candle burn away completely until now. I’m impressed. The price is a little greater than most, but they don’t give off the toxic black smoke.
Our favorite scents are definitely Pumpkin Spice and Fall Harvest. I also like creme brulee.

walmart carries the Paula Deen candles!! 🙂

Wow! Just came back on for sec, sorry! lol…. Here’s what I have from Scentsy
I have a mid or full size warmer as well (can’t remember which size) and a plug in. I keep the plug-in in my home office and when we have company move it to the bathroom. (basically I need more,lol).
Mochadoodle was my fave last winter!
Citrus Sun tea: Eh – OK, not amazing
Vanilla Cream – Currently in both warmers. Love the smell for my office. I’m a huge vanilla fan though in candles.
Baked Apple Pie – Mmm can’t wait for fall for this one. Really smells apply pie fallish
Cranberry Mango – Will be nice for the office around Christmas. There’s just a small hint of mango, it’s mainly the cranberry
Havana Cabana – Not a fan
Sunkissed Citrus: Good…. not bad… but good for summer
Cinnamon Vanilla – I CANNOT WAIT TO USE IT!
Other than Mochadoodle I also had Pumpkin Roll. These were my staples until I got the above scents.
The great thing, is they have specials which break the cost of scents down even lower. The warmers aren’t “cheap” but when you think about how long each scent lasts (my Mochadoodle is still great after a year of solid use) I mean… GREAT investment.
I need more warmers!

Colonial Candles are awesome and I *think* lead-free!

Yum. I love hand soaps. Both of those scents sound awesome.
That’s my problem with Yankee. Most of them aren’t fragrant enough (at least in my opinion). The soy candles sound great. Never heard of those before. Thanks!
@Mrs. Menard to Be :
Oh, ok. I’ll take a look next time I pop in. Thanks!
Wow, thanks for the breakdown. Love it! I’m definately interested in ordering a Scentsy. I’m going to go back and peruse their website some more. I have a feeling I’ll be placing an order very soon. 🙂 By the way, I still keep cracking up every time I hear “Mochadoodle”. Too funny!!
What are your favorite fall scents? Do you have one or two?

I actually picked the Paula Deen candle up while I was at the grocery store

I’ll check to see if my grocery store carries her candles. Thanks!

Another question for the Scentsy fans – I was checking out the site. Do these plug into an outlet? What exactly is the heat source to melt the wax?
Post # 42
There is a light bulb underneath to warm the wax. It’s great because you never have to worry about leaving it on, it’s no more dangerous then having a lamp on. I like to turn it on before going out if I know people might be coming over after so then my place smells great right when we arrive.
I have the small plug in that goes directly into the wall (one for the bathroom and one for the office) and I also have a couple with longer coards that I put in the living room, they are different styles and one’s more fallish. I love all of them. They keep coming out with great new holders too. Id love to have one for every season/holiday!

I forgot to mention…my VERY favorite scentsy scent is Mulberry bush! It’s not a fall scent but it’s awesome!
You should consider maybe having a party, it’s great because they bring all of the scents and you can smell all of them in person before buying. I had one last year and was surprised that some of the scents that sounded great in description were really bad actually in person. Some sounded bad on paper and smelled good in person so it’s hard to know.

I just picked up one of those Glade warmers from HyVee for $0.99. I got the Apple Cinnamon refills and our apartment smells amazing!! its a great fall scent & very homey (:
EDIT: we bought the 2 pack oil refill for $4.99

hope you love it as much as I do! the Red velvet cake is wonderful too! but Hot maple toddy is still my favorite! let me know what you think!

Thanks for the info. The parties sound like fun! Mulberry Bush I will definately check out. I say you should definately keep buying until you have holders for every season/holidy. 🙂
@Mrs. Menard to Be :
Apple Cinnamon..yum! Now, I’m craving a warm apple pie. Maybe I’ll make one this weekend. Great way to kick off the fall season that’s almost here!
Like I said earlier, so many people said the Toddy is their favorite scent, too! Can’t wait to try it. Thanks!
