I’m having a fall themed wedding in two months. Everyone has their attire, except my own mother. My bridesmaids are wearing chocolate brown dresses (I think the exact word is espresso). My gown is deep ivory with gold beading. I think she is looking for champagne, but she is blonde and isn’t sure if 1) it will match, and 2) will go with her light skin.
Any ideas, suggestions? If you have a fall theme, what are your colors?

What about a pewter color or an olive green?
My bridesmaids are wearing navy, my dress is natural white (so a warm white), and my linens are orange.
My FMIL’s dress is a olive green color with a sheen and my mom (who is a blond) is in the pewter family I think.

@KatNYC2011: That might not be a bad idea. Mother-In-Law is wearing hunter green. However, it will be convincing my mom into a color she doesn’t like! LOL

@missvern: What about Navy? Or something more robust than champagne, like a burnt orange.

Rust orange or a deep red could look beautiful. She could also get away with any shade of beige, tan, or brown.

My dress is ivory, my girls are wearing dark purple and my mom’s is like a dark teal. Future Mother-In-Law is wearing silver.
Could your mom do dark purple or burnt orange?

@MrsKaySea: I would love to get her into burnt orange. I’ll give it a try. She is very picky!

I agree with a deep purple or a burgundy color maybe

A burgandy or brick would look really nice I think.

My stepmom wore dark red, my mother sapphire blue, and my Mother-In-Law wore black with gold beading. I pretty much told them to wear whatever they wanted.
