- Wedding: October 2012
I just have to say how much I LOVE this site! I wish I would’ve found it earlier than a month ago! With that said, I need some recommendations as far as food. We’re getting married in Pigeon Forge, TN in October. We rented a cabin up in the mountains for the weekend and are having a small wedding of about 40 people. Just close family and friends. The whole wedding is going to be pretty laid back; I’ve made play lists on my laptop so we’re not having a DJ, and the guys are just going to be wearing nice polos and khakis. I’m so confused about food though! my Fiance and I decided that we want to do subs, some chicken platters, fruit and veggie platters, little pinwheels and such for lunch (the ceremony starts at 2). Maybe some mixed nuts and such in between the ceremony and the reception. We’re pretty sure we want to do pies instead of wedding cake. Neither one of us really like cake and I know that everyone there loves pie, besides it’s perfect for fall! My problem is incorporating the foods that we like to be fall themed. Does anybody have any advice??? Thank you in advance!
