If you don’t want fall colors, don’t use fall colors! It’s your wedding so do what makes you happy 🙂

I’m a November bride using dark blue, purple and olive green. Do whatever you want!

I think you can use your colors – maybe just a darker tone! Generally I think bright colors for summer. For fall maybe do navy blue, fuschia, plum, and a rich yellow. Fall IS colorful. Why does it have to be the colors of the leaves? It’s your wedding, choose the colors you want! =D

I am going to go against the grain and say that season does matter. It sets the tone of the wedding as much as the venue. However your colors might still be used in a fallish way.

You can use any color you want no matter what season it is. It is your wedding and you can do what you want.  If it was true you had to use colors of whatever season you are getting married in, then that means I should have gotten married in the Winter/Christmas time. My colors were Navy Blue, Silver and white which is associated with that season and I got married in June of last year!

Black, white and silver for me 🙂 I also did not want oranges, reds, browns etc.

I agree that any color can work in any season – it’s all about how you do it!

I actually don’t see many fall weddings that use fall colours at all. I am using them and am having a hard time finding things for fall colours. Seems like purple, teal and gold are more popular right now. I think you should use whatever you like, it doesn’t matter which season it is.

We got married in December and our colors were pink, ivory and dark grey.  Definitely not winter colors or Christmas colors.  So I see no reason why you can’t use any colors you like.  The season is not your theme, so don’t worry about it. It’s going to look great!

Our wedding is in the fall (coming up soon!), but we don’t have anything fall-themed. Our colours are navy  & ivory, and our flowers/centrepeices are creamy roses with silvery green-blue dusty miller.

We’ll be taking advantage if the earlier sunset time by having lots of candles & warm white LED willow branches, but that’s it.

I’m getting married in May in Sydney, Australia. That’s fall over here. So I am technically a fall bride.

But~ I LOVE pastel tones! SO~ I’m going with baby blue, watermelon pink, dandelion yellow and lime green for my colors!

Don’t matter if the colors match the season or not~ it’s what you want! I mean there are colors that are not here nor there (FYI an old uni roommate had her wedding color in zibra prints and pink……lol for her winter wedding)

I’ll be a September bride and want to do muted colors like ivory, warm deep pink and champagne. Totally not fall, but it’s what I want!

Hey date twin! I’m having the same problem right now choosing colors. I’m doing black and white, but not sure if the accents will be red or purple (more on the blue end, not fuschia or eggplant). I think summer colours are fine as long as you don’t take your pics with fall leaves as the background!
