Having an outdoor, fall wedding so we are for sure having blankets be a favor to our guests…but since I make awesome Kahlua I was thinking that it would be a tasty treat to add that in for our of-age guests and then doing a home made candle to top off our fall wedding favors.
I am at a complex on whether to do a mason jar candle and have our kids modpodge leaves and decorate the jars for the candles, to just have regular candles with some kind of simple design or dried flowers/leaves, or to make a “hot chocolate” candle made in a hot cocoa cup with “whipped cream”?
As a guest which would you find the most interesting?
(We are having a laid back wedding. Dinner will be a chili bar, beverages range all over but will most certainly have hot cocoa as its my FAVORITE)

Blankets sound like a very generous favour. the kaulua drinks sound awesome. The homemade candles sound cute but I don’t think they would be as appreciated for the time required to make them.

I think the blanket alone is already going above and beyond with favors.. add homemade kahlua, and it’s even more amazing… a homemade candle too?!! Can I come? 🙂
I love the hot cocoa candle idea. I’ve seen something similar, and they’re adorable, and it will go well with the overall feel/theme of your wedding (from what I can tell, anyway!). I think it will be lovely!!

@MamaLlama: I don’t like candles in the shapes of things. They aren’t practical and will probably not fit with the decor of many of your guests’ homes. Kahlua, on the other hand, I will always take.
