I”m using Dark Reds, Oranges and maybe yellow or tan colored silk flowers.  My accent color is dark teal, which will be the ribbon on the bouquet.

I’ve found flowers at Hobby and Lobby and Michaels that look fine to me.

I think I’m going to use silk mums.

So I think your idea will look great.

Red, orange, yellow and purple ARE the colors of fall, so you will be fine.

Flowers included in the fall bouquet below include: purple Dalia, green Cymbidium Orchids, orange roses “Voodoo”, purple Lisianthus, red Hypericum (Coffee beans), yellow Freesia, red Freesia, white Lisianthus, Calla Lily Mango”.

You can see my flowers under our hands. We were married October 2010 and used the same color scheme as you. My bouquet was real flowers but I bought it the day before from the pre-prepared bouquets at a little flower shop, for $10. My daughter’s bouquet was the same colors but silk, and it came from Hobby Lobby 🙂

@Asparagus:  If you have pictures I would LOVE to see them! I am doing the SAME colors (people are all up in arms about it) but I think we will look just fabulous!

Red roses are always safe for the fall.  There is a store called floral syndicate that you can order online from for silk flowers
