We are serving hot butternut squash shooters during cocktail hour!  We might have tomato soup shooters too.

I would have loved to have been able to incorporate a Thanksgiving dinner for our wedding reception but since my wedding is the Sat after Thanksgiving, I thought all my guests would be kind of burnt out on the turkey and dressing. So we are doing an upscale type of BBQ like sliced brisket, ribs, chicken and grilled shrimp with the sauce served on the side, not on the meat.

all sounds yum and is making me very hungry!! No Autumn Foods for us really, we’ve just picked our favourites.

We’re having a Quadruple Roast, so it will be Lamb, Pork, Beef and Turkey on the Spit, and then just Salads, Breads and Potatos

Then for Dessert we are having a Dessert Table with Victoria Sponges, Custard Tarts, Scones and Clotted Cream and lots of other stuff 🙂

I am determined to disprove the theory that brides don’t get time to eat on their wedding day, I am determined to eat all my favourite things lol
