Gold, peach, and light yellow?

I personally LOVE autumn and all the leafy colors.  I had RED dresses in May (with peonies).  But red is Chinese good luck.

I don’t think you have to make your colors seasonally appropriate, just don’t make it look like a spring wedding with super short dresses, light boquets of tulips and peonies, etc.  I had a friend do that and it just looked silly.  She was shivering outside in October in her strapless gown, with her silk lilacs, and everyone else is watching saying “but it’s October…”

For awhile I thought I would have to change my date to Fall and I already had everything decor wise.  I was like, “well if its Fall outside, it will be Spring in my wedding!”  But really I have seen really beautiful weddings with the tones you say you love.  There is no way you should let something like what is perceived ruin your whole day.  Color makes soo much difference in MY mood anyway, and I wouldnt like being surrounded by reds and mustards and browns either even though I love the Fall.  I love it outside, not in my wedding venue haha.  If you love those colors you could have them in your day!!  It will be gorgeous!

@deannaclaws:  well… im kinda differnt than a lot of brides and as far as my Bridesmaid or Best Man go… i gave them a palate of colors and told them to pick a solid color dress in that color vein with no bling or sparkles or embellishments.  Something simple.  I actually went to home depot and picked paint chips!  As far as my flowers go… im keeping it really simple.  I picked muted vintage shades of pink purple and blue for the entire wedding.  That being said if it was all muted it would be blah and washed out so I have a little pop of color here and there.  I ordered my flowers from 2g roses because they were highly recommended in the bridal bargains book.  I have had really good customer service so far with them.  I picked pink roses, and purple and pink carnations as the flowers that will be on the centerpieces for the tables.  Im using vintage milk glass bud vases and am only doing a few blooms per vase.  My maids are carrying coffee filter roses that I made in shades of pink peach white and purple.  Im carrying a vintage brooch bouquet I made, and my toss bouquet is more of the coffee filter ones.  Im not huge on flowers so it wasnt one of the most important things for my day.  I was going for a shabby chic rustic look.. perfectly imperfect.

I think it’s fine to have out of season colors, but I’d make sure you have floral options that are in season that fit within your color palatte.

@deannaclaws:  I really love the gold mint peach lavender you are speaking of though.  If you do google searches for that they are all the rage right now.  But i really love that gold because it adds a really regal feel to your day.  Plus theres so much you can to with that… you can use gold glitter on things, you can do gold leaf, gold paint, gold fabrics, gold sequin even scattered on tables… if you want you could make that your main theme and then accent with the other colors.  I foudn this image:

@deannaclaws:  I’m really glad you like it.  One of my bridesmaids is wearing mint for her dress and Ive been seeing it an pining over it lately lol
