So normally I’m a proponent of using alterations to make your dress look amazing on you…but when I scrolled down and saw dress #2, I totally changed my mind.  Dress #2 just seems to have much more of a wow factor and really flatters your figure!

I’m sorry to say that I don’t love dress #1 on you.  It looks much better when you cinch the waist (it shows off your figure better and changes the shape of the skirt into a nicer shape).  But holy dress #2, girl!

What look are you going for? Dress #1 is sweet and romantic, Dress #2 has major glam and sex appeal.

I know for my wedding I would want #1. The waist of my dress drove me crazy as well. I am wearing a corset underneath; it makes a huge difference. I think your dress looks lovely either way.

Wow, dress 2 is a showstopper!  I usually tell brides to stick with their first choice, but I actually really do think you’ll be happier with dress 2!  It looks amazing on you! I’d definitely recommend wearing that one and and selling the first dress.

I think #2 is far more flattering on you overall, even though I generally like the style of dress 1 better. #1 does look a lot better with the cinched waist, so if you stick with that I would for sure get it altered. The waist also looks like it should be higher up to hit at your natural waist, but since the hem is too short, that would also mean adding fabric onto the bottom.

#2 is all around more flattering IMO. If you decide to wear #1, I would have the waist taken in, but not add a corset because I don’t think it would fit the cut. The first dress looks like it needs to be taken up on the shoulders to shift the waistline and the bodice up. I think this is what is causing you to not look as long and lean in the gown.

Your backup dress is a show stopper compared to the first dress. Wear the second one!! It’s more flattering and you’re wearing the heck out of that dress! To be honest, it makes the first dress look rather frumpy.

I don’t think you look frumpy in the first dress, but it kinda looks plain. The second dress looks special and amazing on you.
